maggie noodles with chicken flavoured msg and twig essence
im back from camp!!! HAHAA.
was HORRIBLE.
but GROUP4 ROCKS!!!
throughout all our suffering and tiredness, we stuck together people!

things to go through
1) we ate using TWIGS from the ground as our utensils. no forks/spoons/chopsticks.
good part: it added extra flavour to our chicken maggie mee. SERIOUSLY!

2)eating maggie for 3 DAYS. the msg was bad enough.

3)enduring smelly guys as we walked on the trail from CDAC to east coast.

4)walking on the Benjamin Shears Bridge for the CDAC/east coast trail.
like up UP UP UP UP UP UP. then DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN down.
haha...

5)making our own tent which later on collapsed.
lucky we weren't under it.

6)making milo the next morning, with our icky greasy dirty cans.
and when they were adding sugar, instructors alex1 and ram were like: put more lah!
eeww. so sweet lor.
but nice nice.

7)we bathed without shower heads.
use water bottles, then refill for each other again and again.

8)muscle aches after the CDAC/east coast trail

9)THERE WERE ANTS ALL OVER THE PLACE.
there were these gigantic [in ant context] red ants with scary and painful pincers with super durable and un-kill-able bodies that climbed onto me. in my shoes also have. there was one clinging onto my shirt all the way to east coast.
and a toad jumped behind me... we were all like FROG! then han went "that's not a frog. its a toad!"
big difference.

but there were GOOD THINGS TOO! lessons learnt:
-perseverence, resilience, teamwork, good communication and FRIENDSHIP.
-no matter how tired you are, watch where the pavement is. DO NOT embarrass yourself and topple off.
-bring sweets and chocos to camp. hide them somewhere...
-its all in the mind. twigs add FLAVOUR to maggie mee.
-NEVER EVER attempt to eat a full can of longans by yourself. POUR ALL THAT SUGAR WATER AWAY TOO.
-when you cant sleep because you're freaked out by looming frogs/ants/flies/mosquitos, say the ROSARY.
-bring torchlight batt. [duh, but i forgot..]

hahah... yep. that's about it.
i have more. but forgot. :)
i think my group rocked because we really stuck together.

lazy to type so copy and paste
sorry rebecca!
